If you pay by monthly Direct Debit, it’s likely that your account will go from a credit to a debit balance throughout the year, this changes in line with your energy usage. 

You can request a refund but we don’t advise that you remove this type of credit balance as it will affect your monthly payments in the future. 

Every three months we review your payments, making sure it’s aligned with your usage. If we see that your usage is higher or lower than expected, we’ll adjust your monthly payment amount to reflect this. 

If you pay by variable Direct Debit, or on receipt of your bill, any credit balance on your account will be used before we take or request any further payment from you.
