If the flood has resulted in a loss of supply to your property, please call us on 0330 094 5800 and select option 9 to speak to our emergency team.
If there has previously been a flood in your property, which has resulted in water damage to your electricity meter, you must ensure the cause of the flood has been resolved and have an electrician certificate at the property to confirm the internal wiring is safe before we install a new meter.
If there is still an issue with water at the property we will be unable to install a new meter.
Your insurance usually covers flood damage. This includes paying for the energy you use while restoring your home. We advise you to take a meter reading before and after the work is done.
