We know that you may have different needs based on your situation. We want to ensure your safety at all times so it’s important we understand your circumstances.

We keep a confidential register, called our Priority Services Register, or PSR for short. We share this with our metering engineer and the electricity and gas Distribution Network.

This ensures that if they have any work planned, they’ll need to make you aware before they start work.

Who can be on the Priority Service Register?

You may wish to join the PSR if you:

  • Are of a pensionable age
  • Have a disability, impairment, or are chronically sick. 
    • This is particularly important where you are using mains-operated medical equipment to maintain your well-being, and you require advance warning of an interruption in your electricity supply.
  • Rely on electrically powered, medical and or mobility equipment.
  • Have a child or young children aged five or under.
