Every month, we produce your bill based on the meter readings you’ve given us. If we don’t receive your reading, we’ll have to estimate your energy usage for the month.
To create an estimated reading, we’ll use your previous meter readings and usage, along with seasonal weather conditions.
If you have submitted a reading, it might have been given too early or too late. If it was early, this will still be used in your bill and will help to create the estimate. If it was too late, you’ll see this used in your next monthly bill.
We will send you an email reminder each month when it’s time for your monthly meter reading. The quickest way to submit your reading is through your mobile app, online account or through our automated phone line.
