When we installed your smart meter, we would have given you a smart meter user guide, which you might find useful. 

Electricity meter

  • Press the top button to wake up the display. 
  • Press the bottom button to go through the menu options until you get to ‘Registers’.
  • Select the ‘Registers’ menu by pressing the top button.
  • Press the bottom button to go through the options until you get to ‘Rates 1-48’.
  • Select the ‘Rates 1-48’ menu by pressing the top button.
  • Press the bottom button to go through the rates for different tariffs.
    • If you’re on a single-rate tariff, ‘Imp R1’ is your reading.
    • If you’re on a two-rate tariff, you’ll need ‘Imp R1’ and ‘Imp R2’.
    • If you’re on a three-rate tariff, you’ll need ‘Imp R1’, ‘Imp R2’, and ‘Imp R3’.

 

Gas meter

Press any button to wake up the display.

You’ll see your gas meter reading as ‘V’ (for volume). The figure is shown in cubic meters (m3). You can ignore any numbers after the decimal point (full stop).
