When you made your application to switch, you may have been asked to provide a security deposit.
This deposit is held in a secure account, separate to your energy account, so you won’t see this on your account or payment history.
We will hold your deposit for six months. After this time, you can request it back. In order for us to give it back to you, we will need to have either:
- Six consistent monthly Direct Debit payments
- Six full variable Direct Debit payments
If you have a debit balance on your account at the time you request your deposit back, we’ll clear the debit balance using your deposit. The remaining amount can be refunded back to you or added to your account as credit.
