Emergency credit is a small amount of credit (up to £10) added to your meter. It’s there to make sure you stay on supply if you can’t top up.

You need to activate your emergency credit when you're low on credit. If you have a smart prepayment meter, you can activate it from your in-home display.

If you use your emergency credit, you’ll need to pay it back when you next top up.
