How often you top-up will depend on how much energy you use, and this will vary based on things like the time of year, the appliances in your home and how many people are using energy in the house.
We advise that you check your credit regularly, and top-up accordingly to avoid running out. Even if you’re away from home for an extended period, there needs to be enough credit on the meter to cover the daily standing charges and any debt repayments that will be deducted while you are away.

- The payments you’ve made
