If you have a prepayment meter and wish to exchange this to a credit meter, there are few steps you’ll need to follow before we can arrange this:
- You’ve been on supply with Shell Energy for at least 6 months, even if you’ve moved into a house with Prepayment meters installed
- Make sure there’s no debt on your prepayment meter
- Make sure you haven’t come off supply or used Emergency credit for six months
- Call us on 0330 094 5802 to request the meter exchange between 8am to 6:30pm.
- We’ll assess the situation and confirm whether we can exchange your meter based on the information you’ve given to our team
