If you have a prepayment meter and wish to exchange this to a credit meter, there are few steps you’ll need to follow before we can arrange this:
- You’ve been on supply with Shell Energy for at least 6 months, even if you’ve moved into a house with Prepayment meters installed
- Make sure there’s no debt on your prepayment meter
- Make sure you haven’t come off supply or used Emergency credit for six months
- Call us on 0330 094 5802 to request the meter exchange. We’ll assess the situation and confirm whether we can exchange your meter based on the information you’ve given to our team. Lines are open Monday to Friday 8am to 6:30pm and 9am to 4pm Saturday.
