If you want to change the date we take your monthly Direct Debit, you can do this in your online account.

We'll need five working days to make the change.

This means that if your current payment date is in the next five working days, the payment will still leave your bank account. Your new payment date will begin in time for next month's payment.

We need to take a payment from you each month. If you're changing your Direct Debit date so that we don't receive a payment from you, we'll take your payment as normal and then again on your new date. 

For example, if you normally pay on the 28th of the month, but change it to the 2nd, we'll take a payment on the 28th and again on the 2nd for that month. Going forward, it’ll then be taken on the 2nd of each month.
