An account balance is the amount still owed after your bills have been balanced against any payments you've made. If your account balance is in credit, you’ve paid for more energy than you’ve used. This usually happens in summer as you’ll typically use less energy during these months.
You can find your latest account balance, together with your recent bills and payments, either in My Account or in the Shell Energy app.
You can also see your current balance on the first page of your latest bill. But this won't include any payments you’ve made after the bill date.
