It’s easy to update your bank details in in My Account. Here’s how to do it:
- Log in to My Account
- Click the ‘Account’ button in the top-right corner of your screen
- Select ‘My Details’ from the drop-down list
- Update your bank details – these can take up to 10 calendar days to change
- Familiarise yourself with the Direct Debit Guarantee and confirm that you have the authority to set up a Direct Debit on this bank account. This includes joint or multiple accounts
- Click the ‘Update’ button to confirm
Remember, your sort code has six digits and your account number has eight. Your bank account must be able to accept Direct Debits. If you’re not sure if this is the case, please check with your bank.
