Further to the announcement you received earlier this year that Post Office Broadband has been sold to Shell Energy, your online account will be upgraded to My Broadband as part of your move to Shell Energy.

My Broadband is great for staying on track with your latest bills, updating your account details and checking out our other packages.

When will I be upgraded?

Shell Energy will start transferring services over to its broadband and phone network from November 2021, and your online account will be upgraded as part of this process.

You’ll be contacted by Shell Energy via letter or email before you’re due to be moved, and after you’ve been moved with more details.

What will I need to do?

For now, you can continue using your Post Office Broadband online account as normal until we contact you and let you know when you’re due to move to Shell Energy.

You’ll lose access to your Post Office online account 28 days after you’ve been moved.

Your Post Office bills won’t be available in your new My Broadband online account so we recommend downloading and saving any bills that you may need ahead of the move.

Can I still access my Post Office email account?

Yes - you can continue to use your @mypostoffice.co.uk or @pobroadband.co.uk email address. We’ll move you to a new email platform in early 2022. There will be some changes in how you access and use your email.

  • If you use Webmail, there will be a new URL to access your email.
  • If you use a computer, tablet, mobile or other device to access email, Simply access your email as normal after you have been migrated.

 

All active email users will be sent full details and instructions before they’re moved onto the new email platform.
