To help you get your email set up on your iPhone, follow the steps below.
Before you start, it's a good idea to test your username and password in webmail to make sure they're correct.
For the best experience we recommend that you use the latest iOS.
If you've already tried to set up your email and something went wrong, please delete the account from your device and start again using our steps.
To add an account follow these steps:
- On your iPhone home screen tap the Settings icon
- Select Passwords & Accounts
- Select Add Account
- Select Other
- Add Mail Account
- On this page you need to complete the following sections:
Name - your name needs to go in here
Email - enter your email address
Password - this is your email password
- You’ll see the IMAP summary page, tap Save
Your email is now set up. To check for mail, tap the Mail icon and if you want to have alerts for mail simply set the Badge App icon in the Notification Centre and this will show you how many unread messages there are.

Some Apple devices may set up IMAP or POP3 incorrectly. You may find that if you try and set up IMAP on your device it could use POP3 and vice versa. For more information regarding this, take a look at Apple support for this issue.
